We have a new member who joined our branch in September: Regina Love. She found us via our website. She is not new to AAUW - she had been a member in Santa Barbara – but she is relatively new to San Luis Obispo. She currently has some medical issues keeping her from participating with us fully, but Gail and I have both met her. We look forward to having her join us at a branch event sometime soon.
Sue Fong, who has been a member of our branch since 2017 and was very involved with the Cuesta scholarship committee, is moving to Santa Barbara this month. She will be missed. Her new address will be shared with the membership.
Remember, if you have friends who would like to become members of our branch, they can do it by following the instructions on the membership page of our website, https://slo-ca.aauw.net/membership/. If you have friends who are potential members, share their contact information with me so I can follow up with them about joining us.
